1.)

What mods can I use:

Minecraft modifications are a large part of the Minecraft experience for many players, with modifications ranging from small performance and visual improvements right through to gameplay-altering ones. As Minecraft modifications provide such a wide range of functionality, not all modifications are permitted to be used on our server. This guide outlines what types of modifications we do allow on the server.

Please understand that due to the nature of game altering modifications, the use of ANY modification on StoneBloom is AT YOUR OWN RISK.If you receive a warning or punishment for using a mod that you feel doesn’t provide you with an advantage over other players, let us know and we will investigate it.

Disallowed Modifications :

While we won’t provide a specific list of disallowed modifications, our basis for prohibiting certain modifications is to determine if they provide you with a significant advantage when compared to another player. The use of any mod that does so could result in an instant permanent ban based on staff discretion.

We also do not allow any mods or external tools that automate any player actions. Including, but not limited to:

·         - Auto-clickers

·         - Macros

·         - Auto-sprint

·         - Aim Assist

If a mod is not specifically stated to be allowed, the safest bet is to ask a staff member, or assume that the mod is prohibited.

2.)

Allowed Modifications:

Most modifications that we allow would fall into the category of Cosmetic or Quality of Life mods. These are mods that make the game look and feel better without providing an in-game advantage. Any information mods give you that you wouldn’t otherwise have should be limited to your own player-character.

For example, you are allowed to have a modification that displays the durability status of your own armor. You are NOT allowed to have a modification that displays the durability status of another player’s armor.

Provided Modpacks

Any modpack/modification that is provided to you through official StoneBloom channels (The StoneBloom Discord, Website, In-Game Announcements).

Armor & Effect Status Mods

Armor Status, Effect Status, etc.

Mods which add armor or potion effects to the Minecraft GUI outside of the inventory.

Animation Mods (Cosmetic Only)

Not Enough Animations, Freshly Animated, etc.

Client modifications that change in-game animations, such as those associated sword/weapon swings, provided these do not change the underlying functionality of the action associated with the animation(s) or add new functionality to the game (e.g. being able to "crawl" in 1 block high spaces).

Optimization Mods

Optifine, Sodium, etc.

Client modifications with the main goal of improving client performance.

Recording Mods

Replay Mod, Flashback, etc.

Client modifications that allow for the recording and playback of gameplay, while also allowing for the changing of perspective during playback (but not in live gameplay).

Shaders

Iris Shaders, Complimentary Reimagined, etc.

Client modifications that change the visual appearance of the game to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
The shader’s mod attempts to make the game look more aesthetically pleasing by adding more details to things, primarily shadows, such as from clouds or people. Side effects may include animated, transparent water or flowing tree leaves. This mod is purely aesthetic and only affects the client-side.
These modifications are permitted provided they do not make changes to the game which affect the player's perspective of the game, such as allowing them to see around or over blocks they normally would not be able to see.

Third-Party Clients/Modpacks

Badlion, Lunar, Feather, etc.

Please note that this does not include cheat / "hack" clients or similar, any use of which is against our rules.

Minecraft client mods (sometimes made available as self-contained clients) that contain a variety of modifications grouped together into a single package are permitted, provided the included modifications are permitted on our server by themselves.
